SmartyPig Adds Integration with Mint for Future Growth Posted: 16 Mar 2009 06:03 AM PDT SmartyPig is a finance tool that makes saving money a social affair. In order to grow its service, SmartyPig has added integration of its service to a number of other financial services, including the web-based Mint. In doing so, SmartyPig is really expanding its service beyond just its own website in order to make it more accessible to users on a broader scale. Such integration really lowers the barriers that may hinder users from using SmartyPig on a regular basis or at all. Below is an interview with the SmartyPig founders at the SXSW conference in Austin, TX, who speak on the new features, the current credit crisis, and the potential for SmartyPig to become a standard in personal finance. |
