Are You Interested Launches Location Based Dating for the iPhone Posted: 23 Mar 2009 09:03 AM PDT
I think that leveraging an existing user base from Facebook for the Are You Interested mobile application is the best route to go for SNAP, as it makes the transition from web to mobile easier and takes some of the apprehension away for location-based applications. Another important initiative for SNAP is the monetization of its iPhone application. After figuring out a way to make a profit from its handful of Facebook applications (Are You Interested, Meet New People, and Flirt With Me), doing the same on Apple’s platform is yet another step towards success for SNAP. Upon launch, however, the Are You Interested application for iPhone users is free to download, as the price points for mobile use have not yet been determined. |
